Description

Effective with Version 'J', the code used to indicate if the diagnosis code is ICD-9/ICD-10.

Comment

With 5010, the diagnosis and procedure codes have been expanded to accommodate ICD-10. On October 1, 2015 the conversion from the 9th version of the International Classification of Diseases (ICD-9-CM) to version 10 (ICD-10-CM) occurred.
